Tbilisi — Between the Old and the New
Some cities you visit. Others slowly begin to tell you their stories.
Tbilisi feels like one of those cities.
Walking through its streets, I discover giant trees, peaceful gardens, elegant buildings, old houses hidden among the greenery, and places that carry the marks of another time. Here, the past and the present seem to walk side by side.
There is something beautiful in the little details: a statue in the middle of the city, a quiet street, a carefully kept garden, an ancient church beneath a blue sky, people walking through the park…
Nothing has to be perfect to be beautiful.
Maybe that is what I love most about Tbilisi — its authenticity.
I am only beginning to discover this city, but I already feel that this will be more than a journey to new places. It will be a journey through stories, cultures, people… and perhaps a little journey of discovering myself along the way.
From Finland to Georgia. A new chapter, a new city, and so many stories still waiting to be told. 🇬🇪❤️🌍
